Allah Declares, “Kaafirs and mushriks want you (Muslims) to
turn back to kaafirs after you placed your faith (in Allah).” One such example
is kaafirs and mushriks advocate that ‘7’ is lucky and ‘13’ is unlucky. Saying
and believing this is never jaeez (permitted) for a Muslim for it has tricky
kufri in it.

Prime Point of Allah’s attention, Imam and Mujtahid of the
age, Imaamul Aimmah, Kutubul A’alam, Awladur Rwasool, Habeebullah and Mamduh
Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee of Rajarbagh Darbar Shareef, Dhaka,
said, “The jews and christians value the number ‘7’ more owing to their
religious sentiments and other aspects. But in the root of these, there lies
the fact that the first letter ‘G’ of their ‘God’ is the 7th alphabet of
English scripts. On the other hand, reason for terming 13 as unlucky is that
the first letter of the Mubarak name of Akhri Rwasool, Sayeedul Mursaalin,
Imaamul Mursaalin, Huzur Pak, Sayeeduna Muhammad Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam
is M, which is the 13th alphabet in the English scripts. This is the backdrop
of their lucky 7and unlucky 13.”
Mujaddidu A’azam Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee
said, “As a mere number, 7 is fine. But the way jews and christians call it
lucky, it is rather unlucky and similarly 13 is lucky for that same reason
because 7 is concerned with the ‘G’ of their God. Believing in God is kufri
since God has a goddess. This makes ‘Shirq’ (comparison or partisanship) with
Allah. Committing a ‘shirq’ leads to hell. Becoming a hell-dweller is rather
bad luck, matter of ill fortune! And number 13 is attached with “Muhammad”, the
Mubarak name of Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. Respecting the Mubarak
name of Sayeedul Mursaalin, Imaamul Mursaalin, Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa
Sallam is rather the instruction of Allah Pak. One who shall honour the Mubarak
name of Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam shall go to heaven. That’s good
luck; matter of good fortune. From this point of view, 13 is rather a lucky
number.
Mujaddidu A’azam Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee
said, “With a view to showing disregard toward Akhri Rwasool, Huzur Pak
Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, jews and christians do not maintain seats
numbering 13 in their planes, rails, ship or hotels. This only speaks of their
malevolence toward the letter M and rather all Rwasool. (na’uzubillah!)
Mujaddidu A’azam Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee
said, “Virtually, through this tricks, kaafirs are pushing the Muslims toward
kufri and curses deceitfully. Because kaafirs and mushriks know very well that
doing insolence, mockery or opposition toward Noor-i-Mujassam, Habeebullah,
Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam would certainly lead them to hell. So
they are making the Muslims utter ‘unlucky thirteen’! That means Huzur Pak
Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam is unlucky! (na’uzubillah min zaaliq!) Therefore,
showing defiance toward Rwasoolullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, Muslims would
be liable of committing kufri and would become hell-dwellers.”
Mujaddidu A’azam Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee
said, “For example, abu lahab uttered ‘tabban laka’ toward Huzur Pak
Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, meaning that ‘perish you!’ (na’uzubillah!) and
became doomed, ever cursed and permanent hell-dwellers along with his family
members. Basically kaafirs and mushriks are trying to make the Muslims utter
and believe in ‘unlucky thirteen’ and make them ever cursed and hell-dwellers like
abu lahab and all. So every one needs to take precautions against it.”
Mujaddidu A’azam Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee
said, “For a Muslim, it would never be appropriate and jaeez to say and believe
in ‘unlucky thirteen’. Rather the Muslims should firmly believe ‘lucky
thirteen’ and ‘unlucky seven’, and that is what is true and acceptable.”
Mujaddidu A’azam Hazrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee
said, “Very trickily and deceitfully, the jews and christians are making the
Muslims dishonour their own Islamic items. Being negligent and ignorant,
Muslims are not realizing these great facts.” Mujaddidu A’azam Mudda Zilluhul
A’alee invited all to read ‘The Daily Al-Ihsan’ and ‘The Monthly Al-Baiyinaat’
to learn and understand the various tricks of the jews and christians of
derailing the Muslims.
